Representative Lacrosse Program
The Clarington Minor Lacrosse Association (CMLA) offers a Representative (Rep) Lacrosse Program designed for players who are passionate about lacrosse and wish to compete at a higher level. Our Rep program focuses on developing skills, fostering teamwork, and promoting sportsmanship, all while providing players the opportunity to compete in regional and provincial tournaments.
Program Overview
The CMLA Rep Program is dedicated to providing athletes with top-tier coaching and the resources needed to excel in lacrosse. Whether you’re looking to compete in the Ontario Lacrosse Association (OLA) leagues or represent CMLA in provincial tournaments, our Rep teams strive for excellence both on and off the field.
Key Features of the CMLA Rep Program:
-
Skill Development: Players receive comprehensive training to enhance their skills and knowledge of the game.
-
Competitive Play: Teams participate in local, regional, and provincial competitions, including the OLA-sanctioned leagues.
-
Teamwork & Sportsmanship: Our Rep program places emphasis on creating a positive team environment where players learn valuable life skills such as leadership, responsibility, and respect for the game and others.
Who Can Join?
The CMLA Rep Program is open to athletes of all skill levels who are committed to improving their lacrosse abilities. Tryouts are held annually for players wishing to join the Rep teams, and team selections are made based on skill, dedication, and teamwork. Whether you are new to competitive lacrosse or have years of experience, the CMLA provides a supportive environment for all players to grow.
Commitment to Development
CMLA is proud to offer a structured and inclusive Rep program that focuses on long-term player development. Our goal is to provide players with the tools to succeed at higher levels of lacrosse, including the potential to compete at the provincial level and beyond. We believe in fostering a love for the sport while ensuring every player receives the coaching and attention they deserve.
