THE OFFICIAL HOME OF
CLARINGTON MINOR LACROSSE

Welcome to the Clarington Minor Lacrosse Association (CMLA), home of #GaelsNation!

Founded in 2001, CMLA has been a proud part of the Clarington community for over two decades. As a non-profit organization, we are dedicated to fostering a love for lacrosse—the fastest game on two feet—while developing skilled, confident athletes. Our mission is to promote teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship, both on and off the field.

We proudly offer programs for youth of all ages (3-21) and skill levels, from beginners just discovering the game to seasoned players competing at representative levels in both box and field lacrosse. Our experienced coaches and volunteers are committed to creating a positive, inclusive environment where every player can grow, succeed, and enjoy Canada’s national summer sport.

CMLA is deeply proud of our legacy. Over the years, we’ve built a strong foundation of community support, and our athletes have consistently demonstrated excellence in both sport and character. Our history is a testament to the dedication and passion of everyone involved, from players to coaches, volunteers, and families. We invite you to learn more about our legacy here, as we continue to build on this proud tradition.

As an organization, we are guided by our core values of integrity, community, and excellence. We believe in the power of sports to bring people together, build character, and inspire lifelong passion.

Whether you’re looking to try lacrosse for the first time or take your skills to the next level, CMLA is here to support your journey. Join us and become part of the Gaels family!

Our Mission
The mission of the Clarington Minor Lacrosse Association (CMLA) is to organize, promote, develop, and govern minor lacrosse within the Municipality of Clarington and other areas accepted by the Ontario Lacrosse Association.

In doing so, we strive to:

-
Support Competitive Play
Provide eligible members with the chance to participate in representative lacrosse and compete at the highest level of play.

-
Promote Respect and Sportsmanship
Foster and model respect for all players, opponents, officials, and members associated with CMLA, encouraging good sportsmanship, proper behaviour, team play, and fair play.

-
Operate with Integrity
CMLA operates as a non-profit organization, with no monetary gain to any of its members. Any surplus funds or financial growth will be reinvested solely to further the purposes and objectives of the Corporation.
