"I COACH BECAUSE OF THE KIDS AND THE PASSION I HAVE FOR THE GAME AND SPORT ITSELF. THERE IS NO BETTER FEELING THAN TEACHING A CHILD THE IMPORTANCE OF DISCIPLINE, HARD WORK, TEAM EFFORT, DEDICATION, DETERMINATION, AND THE HEART IT TAKES TO WIN NOT ONLY IN SPORTS BUT IN LIFE"

- BILL PINGITOR

All adult volunteers (turned 18 prior to January 1, 2021) with the Clarington Minor Lacrosse Association are required to have a valid Vulnerable Sector Check issued within the past 12 months to volunteer with our association.  You will be required to provide a copy to the CMLA Privacy Officer prior to any program participation. A volunteer letter can be provided to receive a discounted price through DRPS (as per Feb 2022, processing time is 5-6 weeks). The Ontario Lacrosse Association has also partnered with Sterling Backcheck to offer an alternate option to obtain your Vulnerable Sector Check, this option is online only and typically you have your form back in 24-48 hours.
