A Fantastic 2025 Season for the CMLA
The CMLA had an incredible 2025 season!
Our U9-1 team earned silver at both the Laker Classic and our very own Dan Greer Memorial Tournament, the first time in years a CMLA team has battled all the way to the final! A big shoutout as well to our U11-2 team, who made it through to the semifinals at the Dan Greer Memorial, giving CMLA two teams competing deep into Sunday play for the first time in several seasons.
Our U13 team captured the championship at the Don Swindells Memorial Rockmen Classic Tournament and went on to claim silver in the “B” Division at the Ontario Lacrosse Festival.
Our U15 team brought home championships from both the Conrad Rollings Memorial Tournament and the Don Swindells Memorial Rockmen Tournament.
Our U17 team were champions at the Anthony Acchione Memorial Tournament, marking back-to-back titles at this event for several players, and added a silver medal at the Ontario Lacrosse Festival in the “B” Division after a hard-fought run.
Amazing job, Gaels! Above all, we’re most proud of the effort, growth, and sportsmanship shown by our players, from SoftLax to House League and across our Rep teams. The future is bright!

Founded in 2001, the Clarington Minor Lacrosse Association (CMLA) is proud to provide high-quality lacrosse programs for athletes ages 3 to 21. We offer co-ed and girls programming at both the House League and Representative levels, creating pathways for players of all skill levels — from first-time stick holders to competitive athletes.
At CMLA, lacrosse is more than a sport. It builds confidence, teamwork, discipline, and resilience, while fostering a strong sense of community and belonging. Our focus is on development, fair play, and a positive experience, ensuring every athlete has the opportunity to grow on and off the floor.
CMLA offers a wide range of programs, including SoftLax, House League (U7–U22), Representative Field Lacrosse, Box Lacrosse (U7–U22), and Fall Sixes, with co-ed programming and girls-only box opportunities. We also provide in-season goalie development clinics, TryLax introductory programs, and meaningful community involvement through fun off-season initiatives such as Santa Claus Parades and our annual Halloween and Christmas Scrimmages.
Whether you’re new to the game or aiming to compete, CMLA is where players learn, develop, and fall in love with Canada’s National Summer Sport.
