How Do I Register?
Registration is required to attend our free Try Lax sessions. Please visit Sportzsoft to register today! Registrations will be accepted at Try Lax as well!
What Equipment Do I Need?
Please bring a helmet with a full cage, running shoes and a smile! We will supply the rest!

Important Reminders:

Representative Players: Registration must be fully completed (including payment) before your first tryout. Tryouts will begin after March Break as soon as facilities are ready.

Release Requests: CMLA will begin accepting release requests starting March 1, 2025. Check out the CMLA Release Policy for more details.

Payments: For the 2025 season, CMLA is accepting credit card payments only through SportzSoft. While SportzSoft may display an e-transfer (EMT) option, please note that this method will not be used for registrations this year. Any registrations submitted with e-transfer payments will remain pending until payment is confirmed. If credit card payment is not an option for you, please don’t hesitate to reach out to our Treasurer to discuss alternative arrangements. We’re here to help!

Early registration is crucial for planning! It helps us determine team numbers and gives us the opportunity to field additional teams in an age category if registration allows. An Unforgettable 2024 Season for Our U15 Team!
Our U15 team had an extraordinary 2024 season, capturing the 'B' Division Field and Box Championships, winning two of three tournaments, and bringing home silver in the third! Their dedication, teamwork, and love for the game inspired everyone who witnessed their journey. On October 28, 2024, they were honoured by Clarington Council for their achievements, and we couldn’t be prouder of how they represented Clarington and the CMLA. Congratulations, U15, on an incredible season filled with heart and accomplishment!
A Historic Season for Our U17-1 Team!
Our U17-1 team made history this year by qualifying for the Ontario Summer Games—one of Ontario's most prestigious youth sports events, bringing together top athletes from across the province in an Olympic-style competition. Not only did they qualify, but they also triumphed, capturing the coveted ‘A’ Division Box Championship—a monumental first for the Gaels! They also delivered an impressive spring field season, bringing home the silver medal in the ‘A’ Division Field Championships. Their accomplishments were recognized by Clarington Council on October 28th, 2024, where they were honoured for representing Clarington and the CMLA with excellence and sportsmanship. We couldn’t be prouder of this team’s dedication and can’t wait to see where their lacrosse journey takes them next. Congratulations, U17-1, on an unforgettable season!
