Introducing the #GaelsNation Fanzone

We’re excited to launch a brand new page on our website, the #GaelsNation Fanzone! It’s a space dedicated to celebrating the moments that make lacrosse special, both on and off the floor.

The #GaelsNation Fanzone is where our lacrosse community comes together to highlight favourite memories and share the experiences that define Clarington Minor Lacrosse. This page features photos submitted by our families, players, and supporters, capturing the energy, teamwork, and pride that live behind the jersey.

From game days and tournaments to practices and community events, the Fanzone showcases the people and passion that make #GaelsNation what it is.

Whether you’re cheering from the stands or battling between the boards, this is your place to relive the moments, share the memories, and help tell the story of #GaelsNation.

We invite all members to visit the Fanzone and submit their favourite lacrosse memories to be featured.

Try Lax at the Yard

Curious about lacrosse? Try Lax at The Yard is a FREE opportunity for new players to experience Canada’s national summer sport in a fun, welcoming environment.

This program is designed for first-time players and those who want to give lacrosse a try with no pressure and no commitment. Our coaches and volunteers will introduce the basics of the game through simple drills, movement, and lots of fun.

Who Can Participate

• New and beginner players

• No prior lacrosse experience required

• Open to all genders

What to Bring

Participants should come ready to move and have fun. Please bring:

• CSA-approved helmet with full cage

• Running shoes

• A positive attitude and a big smile

If your child already has a lacrosse stick, feel free to bring it along. If not, no problem at all, we will have plenty of sticks available for players to use during the session.

• Family Day – Monday, February 16, 2026 from 8:00–10:00 a.m.

• Saturday, March 21, 2026 from 9:00–11:00 a.m.

Although Try Lax is free, all participants must register in advance through our online registration system.This allows us to ensure proper supervision, equipment availability, and insurance coverage
