Congratulations to our 2025 U9-1 team on their Silver Medal finish in the U9 A/B Division at the Dan Greer Memorial Tournament!

Our U9-1 squad brought incredible heart, grit, and skill to the floor this weekend, representing Clarington with pride in front of a packed hometown crowd!

The Dan Greer Memorial draws some of the top teams from across Ontario, and we couldn’t be prouder of our U9-1 players for battling all the way to the Championship game and leaving it all out there until the final whistle.

A special shout out to our U11-2 team as well, for an outstanding run to the semifinals! It’s been a long time since we’ve seen Clarington teams push deep into the playoff rounds at our home tournament, and this weekend proved just how strong the future is for our club!

Way to go, Gaels!

The 2025 Dan Greer Memorial Tournament took place from July 11th to 13th, 2025, and what an unforgettable weekend it was! The Clarington Minor Lacrosse Association proudly hosted 72 games, welcoming 32 incredible teams across 4 divisions, 2 age groups, and 3 arenas.

This tournament stands as a true celebration of the sport we love — a weekend filled with fast-paced competition, sportsmanship, and community spirit. None of this would have been possible without the dedication and hard work of our incredible volunteers, officials, timekeepers, arena staff, coaches, players, and their families. It takes an army to run an event of this scale, and we are endlessly grateful for every single person who gave their time, talent, and heart to make this event a success.

Lacrosse isn’t just a game — it’s a community, and that was on full display throughout the weekend. From thrilling battles to unforgettable team moments, the 2025 Dan Greer Memorial was a shining example of the passion and pride that lives in the lacrosse world.

We would like to extend our deepest thanks to the Greer Family for joining us once again and for graciously presenting our teams with their medals. Your presence is a meaningful tradition, and your ongoing support serves as an incredible example to the countless youth who have competed in this tournament over the years. The legacy of Dan Greer continues to inspire athletes, families, and volunteers alike — and we are truly grateful to have you as part of our lacrosse family.
