Spooky season is officially underway, and we’re excited to invite all our Gaels to our Second Annual Halloween Scrimmage happening this week! Bring your costumes, gear, and get ready for some Halloween fun at the UOIT Traphouse Turf (80 Conlin Road West, Oshawa — the dome on the north side of Conlin Road) on Thursday, October 23, 2025, at 6:30 p.m.

In accordance the CMLA By-laws, discussion and voting at the AGM are limited to the business set out in the official notice of meeting and published agenda. Members were invited to submit written proposals or agenda items for inclusion in the notice of meeting no later than October 7, 2025, in accordance with the CMLA By-laws. No member submissions were received by the deadline, and there is no outstanding old business from previous AGM. 

As a result, the 2025 AGM will proceed strictly in accordance with the published agenda, and no new business will be introduced or discussed during the meeting unless expressly permitted under the By-laws. This ensures that all members receive fair notice and the opportunity to form a reasoned judgment on the matters before the membership.



 
 
 

We are thrilled to announce a new off-season conditioning partnership with Take Control Training (TCT)! A proud partner of the Junior ‘B’ Green Gaels, TCT is led by Coach Trevor Cyr, who brings extensive experience in strength, conditioning, and lifestyle training. Having worked with NLL veterans and players across all levels of lacrosse, TCT has a proven record of preparing athletes to take the next step in their careers.


Coach Cyr has been part of the Junior ‘B’ Green Gaels coaching staff since 2022 and will continue in his role for the 2025 season. TCT offers in-person and online training, team sessions, and even the Good Morning Run Club—providing multiple ways for athletes to improve.


This fall, TCT is offering an exclusive 12-week dryland training program for the CMLA:

  • U11/U13: Mondays at 6:00 pm

  • U15/U17: Tuesdays at 6:00 pm



Each session will run 50 minutes at the TCT gym, 108-1077 Boundary Road, Oshawa. The program begins the week of November 3, 2025, and continues through February 3, 2026.
